Gardener Shankar harvested the bananas this morning. In a few minutes, with the aid of a small sickle, the tree was stripped of its single fruit-laden branch, the bananas were cut from the branch into small bunches, the bunches were wrapped in newspaper, and the newspaper parcels were stored in a box in the garage. Now we wait for time (one week?) and heat (easy!) to ripen the bananas.
Let us know how they taste!
