Remember the bananas from 21 January? They are ready for eating today. I gave one bunch to our neighbours on Friday evening. They (the bananas, not the lovely Dutch neighbours) were hard and green. But on Monday morning the remaining bunches were suddenly ripe and yellow. After tasting two bananas, and sharing them with the driver, the gardener and the other neighbours, I can say that I’m impressed. Very tasty (again, bananas, not neighbours).
