28 Photos Later: Day 12 in London

Welcome to Day 12 of “28 Photos Later”.

Today’s photo is “Please don’t recycle the books”.

Please don't recycle the books

The books are actually the “Authors W-Z” part of the pavement display of Walden Books in Harmood Street, London NW1.  Plenty of great books there, by Wodehouse, Waugh, Wharton and Woolf.   I just happened to pass on recycling day.

Love Wodehouse – wish I’d been there!

Wodehouse is my remedy for feeling low. Just start reading a Jeeves and Wooster book, and I’m smiling again.

  2. Pavement display? What happens when it is raining?

    1. Karolyn Cooper says:

Yes, a pavement display. There were more books, in more bookcases, just to the left of my photo, in front of a charming bookshop. I guess the staff spend a lot of time covering those bookcases or dragging them in and out of the shop.
