28 Photos Later: Day 25 in London

Welcome to Day 25 of “28 Photos Later”.

I have two photos today, both showing the Canadian High Commission in Trafalgar Square.

Canada House front

Canada has had an on-off relationship with this building, buying it in 1923, naming it Canada House, then using premises in Mayfair instead and almost selling the Trafalgar Square building in 1993.  But now they are committed; Canada House has been restored; and it was officially re-opened on 19 February 2015 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Queen of Canada.

It looks really festive at the moment with Canadian flags all round the building.
